John Romero has announced that his studio, Romero Games, is working on a brand new FPS with 'a major publisher'.
The designer of the 1993made the announcement via his Twitter account. There, he invited anyone interested in joining his team to apply for a position to work on the new game. “It’s a new dawn for Romero Games. We are 100% focused on first person shooters, the foundation that built our careers, our studio and a genre.”, giving some scant details on the new project. It will be an all new IP, and Romero is working with a ‘major publisher’ on the shooter.
Anyone curious in joining the team is encouraged to make themselves known over on the official website. It’s been some time since Romero’s worked on a brand new FPS.
