In a preview for Unstoppable Doom Patrol #1 by Dennis Culver, Chris Burnham and Brian Reber, the Brain, one of the oldest villains ever encountered by the World's Strangest Heroes, is fighting side-by-side with his lover, the super-intelligent ape, Monsieur Mallah. As a group of soldiers storms toward the two, prepared to attack, Mallah and the Brain ready themselves for battle.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT The Brain Has a Body to Match His Terrifying Brain Power 8 Images Close The Doom Patrol have fought some truly odd and incredible threats in their time. Gods determined to 'decreate' the universe, extradimensional troublemakers, and companies attempting to homogenize and sell off the DC Universe to the highest bidder. But no villain of theirs is as smart, or cunning, or downright devious as the Brain.

While the Brain was able to accomplish a lot in terms of vexing the Doom Patrol, he was ultimately limited by his containment unit. He'd often rely on Monsieur Mallah as a means of conveyance and muscle when the situation required it. However, with this new body of his, he no longer needs to rely on Mallah for either. Not only is he capable of transporting himself wherever he needs to go, his new body is no doubt powerful if he's willing to stand by Mallah and take on an entire army.

Brain's New Body Spells Trouble for the Doom Patrol The Brain might not be the most powerful enemy that the Doom Patrol has ever faced, but he's almost certainly the smartest. And while he's always been capable of planning ways of taking his enemies down, Brain's never really been able to execute them himself. But with a fully ambulatory body , Brain has just graduated to a new level of intimidating.
