Russia’s Ukraine invasion has pushed humanity to the brink of a major threat to global existence as experts warn of unprecedented danger.
On Tuesday, the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists adjusted the Doomsday Clock as being 90 seconds to midnight - 10 seconds forward from where it sat for the past three years.

Russia’s invasion not only eroded norms of international conduct but raised profound questions about how states interact, the Bulletin said in a statement. And a perfect storm of"disinformation and disruptive technology", a global pandemic and extreme weather events witnessed in the past three years have worsened the existential threat.
