If World War III takes place, experts warn that nearly 65% of the world’s nearly 8 billion population will perish.
Imagine, every other person on our street, neighborhood, city, state or country will no longer live. What’s more, the devastation will last for generations to come, a direct result of the sheer strength of the nuclear weapons blasted into the ground, air and water.
“But they forgot that the same conditions could eventually develop in their own countries! They were blindsided by their arrogance and they lost the sense of reality. Now the entire world can see that what was feared has now been realized and Europe is now once again home to war, as Russia and NATO stand in opposition over Ukraine.”
It is with this statement of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, on whom be peace, that I fear is the reason we have gotten within 100 seconds of total destruction. Our world leaders such as President Biden or those in Europe all say violence is wrong and that war is not the answer. However, they only seem to utter these words when it is in our interests. We often say it is wrong for others to start wars and strongly condemn them but in the next breath we stay silent when it’s us that is waging the war.
