Dorothy Smith thought it was a scam when two strange men said they would take her to Australia. Smith, who is 102 years old, was in her San Francisco retirement village when the men behind YouTube channel Yes Theory heard she wanted to visit all seven continents.
Two strange men take 102-year-old on the trip of a lifetime. And the only continent left on her to-do list was Australia. So Yes Theory’s Staffan Taylor and Ammar Kandil slipped her a note and told her they’d take her to fulfil her dream. “He gave me this little piece of paper that said something about ‘dreams come true’,” Dorothy said, recalling how it happened with Monique Wright and Matt Shirvington on Sunrise on Tuesday.
