LNP Senator Matt Canavan says he supports the Manly Sea Eagles players who refuse to wear gay pride jerseys due to their religious and cultural beliefs.
“There’s a huge double standard here because … an Australian cricketer a few years ago refused to wear a jersey with VB, a
beer company’s logo on it,” Mr Canavan told Sky News host Peta Credlin.“But they’re probably not going to be feted as heroes.”
