Opinion: Doug McIntyre: American politics and government lack serious accountability

And not just any pot store, the Neiman-Marcus of pot stores, with elegant lighting, décor and valet parking to boot, I thought this was the most California thing imaginable.This morning I learned Esteban Nunes, son of former California Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunes, is now employed as a lobbyist in Sacramento.
For millions, Arnold will always be remembered for “I’ll be back,” his signature line from “The Terminator.” I will always remember, “”Well, hello! I mean, of course you help a friend.”The years have ticked away. So, what has become of Esteban Nunez? Today he walks the same hallways in the state capital his father once ruled, now as a six-figure lobbyist for parole reform. Every gym in California would have to become a pot store to top this.
