A man who walked free from the Supreme Court last month for helping his father cover up an alleged murder may have to return to prison after the Director of Public Prosecutions launched an appeal.
Prosecutors have launched an appeal against the sentence given to a man who helped his father cover up an alleged murder in Adelaide’s north.The case will be heard later this month as prosecutors seek to have Yandle returned to prison.
Former Trinity College vice-captain Marco Anthony Yandle, 20, was released from court on the day of his sentencing after admitting to assisting his father, Keith Russell Yandle. The court heard Mr Murphy was unarmed and sleeping rough at the time – having previously lived with his partner and two sons not far from the Yandle property.
