Tien and Krillin don't stand a chance.
Krillin, Yamcha, and possibly even Tien may have always seemed to be the likeliest candidates for the strongest human fighter in Dragon Ball history, but two instances in Dragon Ball Super prove without a shadow of a doubt that Master Roshi is above and beyond them. This is despite the fact he's been on the sidelines more than any other human except Yamcha and still can't even fly.
Master Roshi Almost Rivals Dragon Ball Super's Gods The two deities are obviously referring to Ultra Instinct, a form that Goku struggles to master for quite some time and one that Beerus, a God of Destruction, has yet to get the hang of. Even though what Roshi experiences isn't the true Ultra Instinct state, it's incredible that he still grasps the concept without even being aware of what Ultra Instinct is while employing what can be considered a "mortal" version of it.
