The wantaway St George Illawarra star will be on the move at the end of this campaign.
The Dragons have terminated the final two years of Zac Lomax’s contract, allowing him to leave the joint venture at the end of 2024.
The club has granted him permission to begin negotiating with rival clubs for 2025 and 2026, on the understanding he sees out this season as contracted. “This arrangement enables the Dragons to focus on refining our Top 30 roster and utilising additional cap space, while Zac can pursue his future endeavours with another club.”
The Dragons said they would only consider a release this year if a player of similar standing was offered in exchange.
