His driving record is 'abysmal'
A man committed his fourth offence of drink-driving after he was pursued by police before he crashed. Christian Evans was double the drink drive limit when officers tried to stop him as he drove to buy more drink.
But Evans drove off, going through red traffic lights, driving in excess of 75mph and at 60mph for four minutes before he collided with a man in a 1964-plate BMW, who was shocked and had shoulder and back pain.A statement from him revealed the BMW was his "pride and joy" but he had to wait for it to be repaired after the smash. The man was left nervous getting into the driver's side and felt like he had to press the brakes as he approached traffic lights.
