Senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price has unleashed on Linda Burney accusing the Minister of “dripping with Gucci” while telling remote communities “what’s good for them” as the Nationals officially declare their opposition to the Voice to Parliament.

The Nationals confirmed on Monday the party would oppose the proposal after consulting with communities in a “genuine way”.

Both Senator Price and Nationals leader David Littleproud said the proposal would not “close the gap” and lacked “practical measures” to address concerns in remote communities.
