A man has been arrested after a major police chase across Melbourne's south-east on Thursday morning.
The pursuit, which spanned across multiple suburbs, started in St Kilda before it came to a dramatic end near the intersection of North Road and New Street in Brighton.
"Officers attempted to intercept the Holden. The vehicle took off, driving erratically on footpaths and into oncoming traffic," police said in a statement. A man has been arrested after he led police on a wild pursuit through Melbourne's south-east. Picture: Nine
