The driver of a ute has been charged with negligent driving after a quad bike rider died in a collision inThe quad bike and the ute collided on a rural road in the small town of Bourbah, half an hour southwest of Coonamble about 3.45pm on Friday, police were told.

WATCH THE VIDEO ABOVE: Homicide squad leads investigation into how a 95-year-old dementia sufferer was tasered by officers.The 63-year-old male driver of the ute then went to a nearby property to call emergency services.He is yet to be formally identified. A crime scene was established and examined by specialist forensic police and the Crash Investigation Unit.He was refused bail to appear in Dubbo Local Court on Saturday charged with driving in a dangerous manner and negligent driving occasioning death.
