Driver dies after Lancashire three-car horror crash which left two others injured
A driver has died following a horror crash involving three cars. It happened in Hyndburn in Lancashire earlier this month. A Ford Mondeo collided with an Audi and a Skoda Octavia.
The driver of the Mondeo, a 35-year-old man from Oswaldtwistle was taken to hospital after what suffering what police described as serious leg, facial and internal injuries.He sadly died on Friday , Lancashire Constabulary have now confirmed. The Audi and the Skoda Octavia were reportedly travelling in the opposite direction Lancs Live reports. The driver of the Audi, a woman in her 20s, suffered spinal injuries.
Sgt Michael Higginson of Lancashire Police’s Road Policing Unit said: “This is a sad and tragic incident and my thoughts are very much with the man’s family and friends at this difficult time.
