A 32-year-old driver died Tuesday after his car hit a pole and several trees along a Vineland highway, police said.
Jeffrey Thomas, of Millville, was driving west on Mays Landing Road when his car left the road to the right, hit the pole and trees and came to rest on its passenger side, according to a statement from thePolice and firefighters arrived at the scene of the crash near Panther Road and found that Thomas had suffered serious injuries, authorities said. He was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
