Driver extricated from overturned car after crashing off I-5 in La Jolla [Breaking]
Firefighters extricated a driver from an overturned car that went down an embankment from southbound Interstate 5 in La Jolla on a rainy Wednesday morning.
The vehicle went down the embankment and landed on its roof, trapping the driver, San Diego Fire-Rescue Department officials said in an online log.The driver was extricated from the vehicle around 7 a.m. and taken to a hospital to be treated for serious injuries, officials said.
