She was taken into custody Tuesday after crashing into a building in Gettysburg, state police said.
A Dauphin County woman high on marijuana with her 18-month-old child in the backseat led police on a 20-mile chase overnight Tuesday to avoid arrest, Pennsylvania State Police said.
State police said troopers first tried to pull Acosta over on Route 15 north when they realized she had an active arrest warrant out of Cumberland County. Authorities did not say what the warrant was for. Another chase ensued when troopers spotted Acosta driving south on Route 15 in Adams County. The crash in Gettysburg happened after Acosta got off Route 15 and took Route 30 into Gettysburg Borough, according to state police.
