The New South Wales seat of Barwon is set to be a hotly contested electorate in the upcoming state election, with drought and water security expected to be key issues.

Deputy Premier John Barilaro has told Sky News long-standing drought has placed extra pressure on residents and has left them feeling angry with the government. Mr Barilaro concedes the government may not have 'done enough soon enough' or worked closely enough with 'federal colleagues' to address the severity of the drought. Image: News Corp Australia
