A man has been charged after a firearm, cash and over $6 million of drugs were seized as part of an ongoing investigation into organised crime in Sydney’s southwest. The crackdown on gang crime in NSW has resulted in 63 arrests this week. 9News MORE:
taskforce Erebus arrested 18 alleged Alameddine gang members in relation to a "dial-a-dealer" drug operationDuring further raids, officers arrested four men, two aged 21 and two aged 22, in Fairfield West after a large hydraulic press, electronic devices and more than 11 kilograms of MDMA were seized.A further 12 kilograms were seized at a second property in Fairfield West along with two-and-a-half kilograms of cocaine, and 40 grams of a substance believed to be methylamphetamine.
Police also searched a home in Darlington Point where they found 1.2 kilograms of cannabis, more than $30,000 in cash and prohibited weapons.
