The attack took place at Buchanan Bus Station
Glasgow Sheriff Court heard that Roberts was on the 900 bus heading from Edinburgh to Glasgow.During the journey, an intoxicated Roberts argued with a passenger and fell down stairs from the top deck.
Prosecutor Tanjeel Maleque said:"As the bus arrived at the station, Roberts attended to get his suitcase from the bus when he fell on Mr Chu."Roberts became aggressive and punched Mr Chu to the face."He then brandished a bottle at staff member Polly Boakye.Roberts pleaded guilty to assaulting Mr Chu and Polly Boakye.Gerry O'Donnell, defending, told the court that Roberts had been to see his mother and had been drinking on the bus.
