The first wave of 149 showcasing acts headed to Austin

Kicking off with 149 acts from around the globe, the list leads with prominent Venezuelan reggae-pop mixers Rawayana, London post-punk stoics Dry Cleaning, and Brooklyn art-punks BODEGA. Cult-beloved Detroit electronic producer Omar S adds to the bill, alongside the return of always-lively Spanish indie rockers Hinds.

Reprising guitar-centric sets from last year’s fest are heavy jangle pop act They Are Gutting A Body Of Water, from Philadelphia, and immersive slowcore quintet Teethe, from Dallas. TheLocals on the lineup include Dylan Gossett, El Combo Oscuro, fuvk, Half Dream, Joe King Carrasco, Little Mazarn, Lord Friday the 13th, Mama Duke, Middle Sattre, and West Texas Exiles. Now Atlanta-based act Mamalarky also launched in Austin.
