DSR will be ‘transformational’ on NT economy and community

The Defence Strategic Review will focus on force posture in Northern Australia which is “great news for all of Australia”, says Master Builders Northern Territory Chief Executive Ben Carter.

“It can really be transformational of the economy and the community across the north but particularly in Darwin – we’re very supportive of the DSR recommendations about the north and force posture in this region,” Mr Carter told Sky News Australia.

“This is a great opportunity for the government, for the Department of Defence to build on one of Defence’s unsung success stories.”
