Dundee could be first Scots city to ban disposable vapes as MSP backs Record campaign
Dundee is considered a hotspot for dumped single-use e-cigs by campaigners – with council chiefs backing them being outlawed.
It comes after we launched our Bin the Vapes campaign last month calling for disposable e-cigs to be banned after Scotland’s streets became a dumping ground. Villalba, who lives in Dundee, just like Health Secretary Humza Yousaf, said: “What I would say to Humza is that the review into the products is welcome and I understand that will include looking at a ban.
“But I’d want him – or whoever becomes our next first minister – to... join me in calling for Dundee to be the first pilot city for a ban on disposable vapes.” Top news stories today A Scottish Government spokesman said: “It is important we take the time to consider the evidence and expert advice and come forward with policy options, which could include a potential ban on single-use vapes.”READ MORE:
