Hugh Grant reveals that he had an angry outburst on the set of Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves on the very first day of shooting.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves star Hugh Grant admits to having a bit of a tantrum while filming a very early scene in the upcoming adaptation. Based on the beloved table-top role-playing game, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is an upcoming fantasy adventure movie from directors John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY As the Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves release date approaches, Grant reveals in a recent interview with Total Film that he had an unfortunate outburst on set during the very first day of filming. The actor reveals that the incident happened when a chaperone of one of the child actors was in his eyeline during a scene.

"I lost my temper with a woman in my eyeline on day one. I assumed she was some executive from the studio who should have known better. Then it turns out that she’s an extremely nice local woman who was the chaperone of the young girl. Terrible. A lot of grovelling... I did a 'Christian Bale'.

As Grant himself references above, The Dark Knight actor Christian Bale famously had an angry meltdown on the set of Terminator: Salvation in 2008 when cinematographer Shane Hurlbut walked into his eyeline during a scene. Audio of the outburst was leaked online, and Bale subsequently apologized. Costars Bryce Dallas Howard, Common, and Moon Bloodgood would also later come to actor's defense.

Perhaps even the most notable actor outburst in recent memory, however, is Tom Cruise's infamous leaked rant from the set of Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. The star lost his temper with two crew members who violated the shoot's COVID safety measures, which surprisingly wasn't met with much backlash online due to the understandable reasoning behind it.
