A light dusting of snow has made its way over the Queensland border with some parts of the state.

A low-pressure system in the Tasman Sea has continued to bring chilly conditions that are predicted to remain for several days.

Owners of Spicers Peak Lodge in the Scenic Rim region shared a video of snow falling at their retreat that lies just north of the NSW border.At the Sunshine Coast Airport, there was a Wednesday morning minimum temperature of just 2.7 degrees. In Tasmania, several locations recorded their warmest July days in years according to meteorology service Weatherzone.
