Peter Dutton has clashed with Richard Marles over Labor's response to the energy crisis and declared Chris Bowen is a 'bunny in the headlights' who has made the 'situation worse' for residents.
The east coast has been experiencing an energy crisis which has seen the Australian Energy Market Operator indefinitely suspend the electricity spot market and the NSW Treasurer acquire emergency power to sure up supply for generators.
Opposition Leader Peter Dutton did not hold back in his assessment of Chris Bowen. Picture: Liam Kidston “It's remarkable how Labor always has this bad luck in government whether it’s in relation to the economy, it always sours on their watch, in relation to an energy crisis it always happens had when they get in government, borders breaking down always happens,” he said.
“We are working our way through this crisis. We're in this situation because of the failure of the former Liberal government to do anything in relation to energy policy and the wars which were going on inside their party room is why we have the crisis that we're experiencing right now,” Mr Marles said.
