The Opposition Leader has been invited to attend the government’s jobs summit, to be held in Canberra next month.

Invitations to attend the summit are being sent this week to unions, business groups and bodies representing the public sector. Treasurer Jim Chalmers has written to Peter Dutton, offering him, or another member of the Opposition, a seat at the table. But that offer was declined by Mr Dutton, and Deputy Liberal Leader Sussan Ley told Sky News Australia no member of the Opposition will be in attendance.
