Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has cast doubt on whether Australia's Ambassador to the US Kevin Rudd can forge a 'working relationship' with the incoming Trump administration.
Dutton questions Rudd's ability to work with Trump administration after video of Australian Ambassador to the US calling president-elect a 'village idiot' emerges
Pressure has since mounted on Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to withdraw Mr Rudd and replace him with a less controversial diplomat. Asked about whether Mr Rudd’s position as Australia’s Ambassador to the US was tenable, the Opposition Leader said the Prime Minister needs to consider the matter.
