The attack continued to draw backlash on Tuesday with Nationals Senator Matt Canavan lashing the move which he said diminished any"sort of bonhomie across the political divide" during a time of"joy and peace” as Aussies celebrate the holiday season. “The Labor Party clearly have nothing to tell the Australian people in 2025, just as they had no solutions in 2024,” he said.
