Shooting for The Smashing Machine, produced by the megastar’s production company Seven Bucks, is set to begin in May and will last through to August.While not confirmed, it’s almost certain to mean that Johnson will be ruled out of any physical activity for that period at least.
Rock, who is a Director on the Board of WWE’s parent company TKO, will reach a unique milestone in the wrestling world when he competes at WrestleMania 40.In 1999, he battled arch rival Stone Cold Steve Austin for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 15, a war they waged once more two years later at WrestleMania 17 in 2001.
