Benefit claimants can expect a change in their payment date due to the upcoming Bank Holiday
Claimants on Universal Credit are being warned about a change to their benefits ahead of the August Bank Holiday weekend.
It may seem like a good thing, but it does mean that the next payment after the August one will come later. Changes to benefit dates for the rest of 2023 have also been confirmed by the DWP, DevonLive reports.The upcoming Bank Holiday that falls on Monday, August 28 will see claimants receiving their payments on Friday, August 25 instead.
