Daily News | Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts practices for first time post-shoulder injury
On Wednesday, after Hurts missed practice, head coach Nick Sirianni
returning for this week’s game against the New Orleans Saints, the second game in a row in which the Eagles will have a chance to lock up both the division and the NFC’s No. 1 overall seed.”We’ll see how he progresses throughout the week,” Sirianni said a day before his QB returned to practice. “Does he have a chance? Of course, he does. His body just knows how to heal, he’s a freak. So we’ll see what happens and how he progresses.
While Hurts went through the individual portion of the practice, it remains to be seen what type of injury designation he’ll be given when Thursday’s injury report is released later this afternoon. While Hurts participated in the passing portion, he was held out of some drills, including the team’s ball-security session.
