Eamonn Holmes attended the TRIC Awards on Tuesday to make his first public appearance since his split from wife Ruth Langsford. The broadcaster was seen in a wheelchair and was joined by Christine McGuinness.
Eamonn Holmes was seen putting on a courageous front as he attended his first public event in a wheelchair.
Christine was pictured warmly holding Eamonn's hand and draping an arm around his shoulder as they posed with smiles for the camera. Eamonn was smartly dressed in a black suit paired with a crisp white shirt and a striking blue tie. Top TV news "He would like to go but it is in the balance, a lot will depend on how he feels on the day," a source confided to The Mirror.
Famous for their scuffs and squabbles, which were often broadcasted live on ITV, the pair insisted their disputes were borne out of love. Following the split, it's understood that Eamonn has formed a close relationship with Katie Alexander, a 42-year-old relationship counsellor, who's been assisting him navigate through the difficult times.
