NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian says early fears that Sydney's CBD coronavirus cluster could explode have subsided, with low case numbers and no evidence of it spreading to other suburbs | AlexSmithSMH
"Obviously, a number of people travel into the CBD and we knew those individuals were out and about unknowingly in the pre-symptomatic period but were infectious. We have been monitoring cases associated with that cluster and it is pleasing to see the numbers are low."
Ms Berejiklian also praised NSW residents for their behaviour over the warm weekend, which saw Coogee and Bondi beaches full of swimmers. Ms Berejiklian said the government was working on "a number of strategies to have a COVID safe summer."
