PUBLISHED 2:29 PM CDT May. 15, 2022TEXAS — The early voting period for the primary runoff election got underway Monday morning in Texas and will remain available until Friday, May 20.
Voters will decide on those races not resolved during the March primary. Election Day is Tuesday, May 24.Voting hours vary by county but many polling locations are open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. You may vote at any voting location in your county of residence.In order to vote in person, you must have one of seven acceptable forms of ID.
Copy or original of a government document that shows the voter’s name and an address, including the voter’s voter registration certificate;Copy of or original government check;Copy of or original of a certified domestic birth certificate or a document confirming birth admissible in a court of law which establishes the voter’s identity .
Once you have presented supporting ID, you must execute a Reasonable Impediment Declaration. Check with your polling location for instructions.
