Perry Kouroumblis, the suspect in the 1974 Easey Street murders, has been extradited from Italy and is now in Melbourne to face questioning over the deaths of Suzanne Armstrong and Susan Bartlett.

Easey Street murder suspect Perry Kouroumblis has arrived in Melbourne after being extradited from Rome. The 65-year-old was granted extradition from Italy in late October, nearly five decades after Suzanne Armstrong and Susan Bartlett were found dead in their Collingwood home. Kouroumblis was driven from Rome's Regina Coeli prison in a black van and processed at the city's international airport. He boarded a Qatar Airways flight to Doha, with Victoria Police detectives accompanying him.

Upon arrival in Melbourne, he will be questioned about the murders of Armstrong and Bartlett. Kouroumblis previously consented to a DNA sample during a re-investigation and maintained his innocence
