328,000 passengers passed through the airport in April

East Midlands Airport has announced a series of changes set to improve the experience for passengers ahead of the busy summer period. The improvements come as the airport celebrates seeing the highest number of passengers since the pandemic.

The Yard is a new bar that will offer a wider variety of drinks to travellers starting their holidays. The airport has also secured 500 new trolleys for customers to use and the revolving doors at the check-in hall and anti-backtrack doors at the arrival hall have been replaced and upgraded.
