EAST PALO ALTO – A pair of juveniles has been arrested in connection with theThe suspects were arrested after authorities served search warrants Friday morning in East Palo Alto and Palo Alto, the East Palo Alto Police Department said in a news release.
Police said a semi-automatic pistol with an extended magazine was seized at one of the suspect’s homes. The suspects were booked into Hillcrest Juvenile Hall on murder charges, police said. Their names were not released. The fatal shooting was reported just after 9 p.m. Monday in the 1900 block of Manhattan Avenue. Officers arrived to find the victim suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim was taken to an area hospital, where he died from his injuries. His name has not been released.“The presence of privately owned surveillance cameras and the availability of the footage made the arrests of the suspects and the seizure of the firearm in this case possible,” police said.
