EastEnders fans were left horrified after Stacey Slater's attempt at getting a Stalking Protection Order against stalker Theo Hawthorne was denied by the court in Monday's episode
EastEnders watched in horror as Stacey Slater's stalker Theo Hawthorne was allowed to walk free during a court hearing in Monday's episode, as she attempted to get a Stalking Protection Order put in place.
Monday's episode opened with Stacey's ex-husband Martin Fowler finding photos of the mum-of-three hung across Albert Square, leaving him furious after realising it was down to Theo. The incident prompted Stacey to decide to attend the court hearing in a bid to tell her own story, after previously saying she wasn't going to attend as she didn't want to relive all of the details of her stalking ordeal.
Viewers were left furious at the scenes, with many taking to social media to share their thoughts. One penned: "Theo is just sick #eastenders," as a second added: "Nahhhh how is Theo getting away with this This storyline is p***ing me off! #Eastenders". After the court hearing, Stacey was left in tears as Martin attempted to comfort her, along with Jean and Kat who had attended the hearing to support her. However, it looks like Theo's actions are only set to get worse and it's not only Stacey he's targeting now.
