EastEnders viewers were left in tears during Thursday's episode as Lola Pearce started to lose her hair in heartbreaking scenes.
Lola had hoped the cancerous tumour could be removed but the surgery was unsuccessful and she was told in devastating scenes that she has terminal cancer. In the scenes, Lexi started brushing her mother's hair to which she soon stopped as she said: "I was being gentle" to which she showed several strands on the brush.
Soap watchers were left in tears over the emotional scenes as they took to Twitter to share their thoughts.A different account put: "#Lola’s hair is falling out. Lexi trying to comfort her was a touching scene. #Jola #EastEnders."
