EastEnders fans are convinced they've sussed out Stevie Mitchell's real game plan, after the Mitchell patriarch made a surprise reappearance in Walford on Monday night.
Phil Mitchell had previously warned him to stay away from his cousin Billy, but after running off, the character returned on Monday night, with Billy and Phil making it clear he wasn't welcome in Tuesday night's episode. Stevie tried to charm his way back in, but Phil saw right through him while a frustrated Billy stormed off.
Before long, the conversation turned to Billy's brother and Stevie's other son, Charlie, who died in 1998, and Charlie's son Jamie, who tragically passed away in 2002. Stevie, who has been absent from everyone's lives, asked to get in touch with Jamie and was shocked to learn that he had actually died over 20 years ago.
As expected, social media was abuzz with fans speculating about Stevie's real motives, with many curious as to why Stevie was so determined to reconnect with his son after decades apart.
