EastEnders star Lorraine Stanley has appeared to make a thinly veiled dig at the BBC soap on social media following the announcement that her much-loved character Karen Taylor will be axed from the programme in a cast shake-up.
"I was sad, it was a mix of emotions, it’s sad but it’s exciting as now I can go and do what I want," she told The Sun previously. Since her exit has been confirmed the 47-year-old actress has been spotted liking tweets that slammed the soap for her axing.
