Holidaymakers have already been hit by heavy traffic as the Easter long weekend exodus begins. 9News
roads have caused significant delays for motorists, including a three-car accident on the central coast.
The crash at Mooney Mooney caused heavy northbound traffic on the M1 Pacific Motorway on the Hawkesbury River Bridge.Meanwhile, a car flipped after a two-vehicle crash at Seaforth in northern Sydney. A man in his 50s was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital, while a woman in her 30s was treated for shock.Emergency services also responded to a single-car crash at Oakville in north-west Sydney at about 3.30pm.Melbourne residents are also hitting the road ahead of the Easter long weekend.
Traffic on the West Gate Bridge moved slowly in both directions this afternoon as motorists started to make their way to their holiday destinations. Traffic was also heavy on the Hume Highway this morning as families attempted to beat the holiday rush.READ MORE:
