Ebony Marinoff has been awarded the AFLPA ’s 2024 Most Valuable Player Award, capping off an incredible season for her and her team. The award, decided by her peers, saw her narrowly edge out two-time winner and Kangaroos star Jasmine Garner . Ella Roberts from West Coast finished third, followed by Mim Strom and North’s Ashleigh Riddell. The 27-year-old has averaged 31 disposals and 12 tackles per game, making her a standout player.
Additionally, Chelsea Randall has been recognized for her bravery, winning the Most Courageous Player award for the sixth time. Meanwhile, Port Adelaide’s Sineah Goody was named the AFLPA’s Best First-Year Player. This accolade reflects the rigorous voting process where each player first nominates three teammates, and then all players vote for the MVP from the shortlist
