Parents are wondering whether it is worth sending their children overseas, particularly to Australia, because of all the policy changes.” “The caps have sparked significant discussion among Chinese international students and those students planning to study in Australia, particularly on the social media platform Xiao Hong Shu ,” Dr Lehmann said.
Even ahead of the introduction of the caps – which economists, policy experts, state politicians and education leaders have argued will have– new data reveals that interest in studying in Australia is already in serious decline.
