Rare pictures have been taken inside by an urban explorer
Rare photos have been taken inside and outside an abandoned Northants military base that opened way back in 1917 and was once home to a unique squadron of the RAF.
Throughout World War Two, a number of different units were stationed there including the 133 Squadron, which was one of the famous Eagle Squadrons formed from American volunteers. On photographing the abandoned facility, Funky Muffin said:"It was peaceful actually, not like other military installations I’ve been to.
