, the contemporary ice house that has become a Height staple, will soon get a sister property in East Downtown. announced Thursday they will open a second Eight Row Flint at 3501 Harrisburg in Second Ward. The location was the home of Night Shift bar which is listed as permanently closed.The new Eight Row Flint is expected to open in late fall. It will offer the same menu of cocktails, whiskey and agave spirits, and food as the bar that originally opened in 2015.
“We’re so proud of what we’ve built at Eight Row Flint over the last eight years. With this being our first concept expansion, it’s a really exciting moment for us,” Agricole Hospitality owners stated. “Nurturing our staff and watching them develop is one of the most rewarding elements of being business owners.
According to a press release, three longtime Eight Row staffers will lead the expansion: General manager Christina Ramey will oversee both locations as the new Eight Row Flint Concept Manager; Christian Garza, the current assistant general manager, will become general manager at the new location; and chef Marcelo Garcia, who has been with the Agricole team since 2013, will serve as executive chef running the food operations at both locations.
In addition to Eight Row, Agricole currently operates Coltivare, Indianola, Miss Carousel, and Vinny’s. The team already has announced it will open EZ’s Liquor Lounge with bartender Matt Tanner at 3302 White Oak later this summer.
