An 18-year-old man has died and been brought back to life when he crashed a motorbike into the fence of a Gold Coast property. The young man was riding the Yamaha on Pacific Bines Blvd about 3.30pm on Sunday when he veered off the road and crashed into the timber fence. “Witnesses have seen him overtaking other vehicles at significant speed ... just prior to the actual accident,” Acting Superintendent Scott Knowles said.
” He was treated by paramedics at the scene for serious back, pelvis and limb injuries. He was rushed to Gold Coast University Hospital where he immediately went into surgery. “He did actually pass away at the hospital. He had to be revived,” Knowles said. “He’s critical. He’s still unconscious. “He apparently lost significant amount of blood.
