NEON has officially announced the Eileen release date for its upcoming period thriller drama starring Anne Hathaway and Thomasin McKenzie.
“The film follows a peculiar young woman whose dreary life stretches on toward unending misery,” reads the synopsis . “In frigid 1960s Boston, Eileen shuffles between her father’s dingy, emotionally haunted home, and the prison where she works alongside colleagues who have ostracized her. When an intoxicating woman joins the prison staff, Eileen is taken.
The film is produced by Goebel, Oldroyd, Moshfegh, Anthony Bregman, Stefanie Azpiazu, and Peter Cron. Executive producers are Farhana Bhula, Ollie Madden, Julia Oh, Gregory Zuk, and Jamin O’Brien.Maggie Dela Paz has been writing about the movie and TV industry for more than four years now.
